For Many Years Upstate CTC has assisted a large number of companies: from Fortune 500 members such as Eastman Kodak, Bausch & Lomb, Polaroid, Carborundum, Johnson & Johnson, and Xerox to high technology startups such as Dimension Technologies, Inc., INEX, Inc., Accuracy Microsensors, Inc., MKS, Inc., and many others.
Executive Director, Alexander E. Martens, began his work as a Technology Consultant in 1983, after leaving Bausch & Lomb, Inc. of Rochester, New York, where he served for 23 years as Vice President of R&D in the Instrument Group.
Martens has extensive expertise in the areas of photonics, optics, instrumentation, and R&D management. He works closely with universities, federal laboratories, state government agencies and New York technology development organizations.
