Vulnerability Assessments
CTC utilizes many of the principals of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) in conjunction with advanced methods developed by federal security agencies for conducting Vulnerability Assessments (VA) for communities, public safety facilities, schools, departments/agencies, and private sector clients.
Each VA is performed with the needs of the individual client in mind, while following the basic principles of CPTED. CTC’s team of experts performs VAs based upon these principals, as well as our additional expertise in this area, and can provide you with a detailed report on ways to reduce vulnerability in you facility or community by means of:
- Natural surveillance;
- Access control;
- Physical maintenance;
- Activity support;
- Physical environment;
- Productive use of space; and
- Behavior of people.
